TERMS & CONDITIONS


SG MOP AND PAIL CLEANING SERVICES PTE LTD

1. SERVICE PROCESSING

​

We exercise reasonable care in processing items using methods suited to their fabric nature and condition. In the absence of specific instructions:

  • We follow care label instructions.

  • If care labels are missing, illegible, or absent, items will be dry-cleaned.

2. FABRIC RISKS & LIMITATIONS

​

You acknowledge and accept the following inherent risks:

  • Synthetic Leather & Suits: Prone to bubbling/delamination (especially fused interlinings).

  • Blackout Curtains: Lining may distort, stick, tear, or degrade in sun-exposed/high-friction areas. Cleaning is at your sole risk.

  • Curtains & Cushion Covers: May shrink if fabrics were not pre-shrunk during manufacturing. We assume no liability for shrinkage.

  • Silk Fabrics: Prone to tearing near end-of-life, influenced by usage.

 

We are not liable for:

  • Defects, discoloration, shrinkage, or damage resulting from weak/unapparent fabric conditions prior to cleaning.

  • This applies to all items (especially curtains, cushion covers, suits) via load wash, laundry, dry-cleaning, or ironing.

3. STAINS

  • We do not guarantee discovery or removal of stains unless highlighted at deposit.

  • Full charges apply regardless of stain removal outcome.

  • Stain removal attempts are at your sole risk (including shrinkage, tears, color run).

  • Complete stain removal is not guaranteed.

4. INSPECTION & ACCESSORIES

​

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Count items upon deposit. Our count is final if undisputed at deposit.

  • Remove detachable accessories (buttons, beads, belts, etc.) before deposit.

  • We may remove accessories at our discretion and are not liable for loss/damage to ornaments, trims, or detachable parts.

5. BULK/LOAD WASHING

  • Items processed by weight without individual attention.

  • No liability for loss, damage, or color distortion in bulk loads.

6. CLAIMS & INSPECTION

  • Inspect items upon collection/delivery. Complaints must be raised immediately; no claims accepted later.

  • Report defects within 24 hours with original receipt/tags. Unreported claims void future liability.

7. HOME DELIVERY & COLLECTION

  • Time slots (2-hour windows) assigned first-come-first-served.

  • Cancel/reschedule via WhatsApp (+65 9127 2152) ≥24 hours pre-slot.

  • No-show fee: S$50 if customer misses slot or is unreachable.

8. PRICING & PAYMENT

  • Fees based on current price list/official quote. We reserve the right to amend prices.

  • Deposit implies acceptance of quoted charges.

​

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Maximum liability for loss/damage: S$180 or 10x cleaning cost (whichever is lower), reimbursed via company voucher.

Applies to all items, including luxury/branded goods.

  • Compensation based on fair depreciated value (age/use).

  • Damaged items retained by us after claim settlement.

10. UNCLAIMED ITEMS

  • Claim within 2 weeks of invoice date. Unclaimed items disposed of without notice.

  • No liability for loss/damage to unclaimed items.

​

11. ALTERATIONS & CUSTOM WORK

  • Services rendered per customer-provided specifications/measurements.

  • No returns/refunds for errors in customer-provided details (e.g., measurements, fabric choice).

  • Report defects upon collection. Return shipping costs borne by customer unless error is ours.

  • No refunds if altered goods are modified after return.

  • Maximum liability for defective work: S$180 (refund of alteration fee).

12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Depositing items implies full knowledge and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
